This Broadcast Field Monitor is D-TV ready and designed to be used on location with all of our Broadcast Cameras. Although this monitor only displays 450 TV lines of resolution, it does accept the high definition signal without any need for down conversion.
The BVMD9H5U accepts NTSC and PAL composite signals, standard definition Beta Component signals, and High Definition component analog (1080i). Additional formats include 480P, 720P, and RGB. It can be powered with a standard 4-pin DC connector or with an Anton Bauer brick battery. It's designed to display 16:9 with programmable 4:3 action markers that can be superimposed on the 16:9 screen. It's flexibility is enhanced with the programmable channel assignment for inputs, formats, and aspect ratios.
