The controller works with the HDW 500 VTR and controls the HD/NTSC output video signals as well as the image enhancer circuitry of the down-convertor built into the VTR.
The controller can manipulate chrominance, hue, sync phase, video level, setup level, luminance, etc.
It can also control the aspect ratio mode of the NTSC down-conversion (i.e. cropped, letterboxed or squeezed).
The controller can remember up to 99 sets of settings for the above and the controller can give a readout of those settings.
