The Lectrosinics 195 series Diversity Wireless microphone system uses antenna phase switching diversity to lower the likelihood of dropouts due to multi-path phase cancellations.
By switching the phase on the 2 antennas it strives to improve the signal to noise ratio, and constantly rechecks itself. The 195 system also features a pilot tone muting system. The transmitter sends a 32 kHz signal along with the audio to the receiver. The receiver will remain muted until it receives the pilot tone from the matching transmitter.
