The 14L5/1 is new design of production/edit suite monitor from Sony with slightly smaller dimensions though maintaining the same screen size.
The monitor is designed for compatability with the latest advances in acquisition technology in that it can display 24p and 23.98p signals in addition to the standard NTSC or PAL.
The monitor can also come equipped with both SDI and HD-SDI inputs (together with the usual analog assortment of composite, s-video, and component/RGB) and this versatility combined with extra sharp resolution (800 TVL lines) makes it an ideal display for either on-set playback or for non-linear edit monitoring.
