Join Guenter Noesner, Senior Technical Sales Representative, for a hands-on demo of ARRI’s new large format camera system, including the ALEXA LF camera, Signature Prime lenses, LPL lens mount and PL-to-LPL adapter — all designed to take advantage of the enlarged sensor, and to work compatibly with existing lenses, accessories and workflows.

The ALEXA LF records native 4.5K allowing filmmakers to explore an immersive large-format aesthetic while retaining the sensor’s natural colorimetry, pleasing skin tones and stunning capability for HDR and WCG workflows. Versatile recording formats, including efficient ProRes and uncompressed, unencrypted ARRIRAW up to 150 fps, encompass all on-set workflow requirements.

Also on demo will be two of ARRI’s large format Signature prime lenses (35mm and 47mm), featuring a fast T-stop of T1.8 to facilitate shallow depth of field and the smooth focus fall-off. Guenter will discuss optimal pixel size, image quality, recording formats, lens features, 4K deliverables and more with Q&A and hands-on time with the camera and lenses.
