These filters precisely attenuate not only visible light, but infrared and UV wavelengths as well. This allows for clearer digital images without unwanted color shifts or “pollution” from light outside the visible range. Solid glass construction virtually guarantees these filters will not fade or shift with age and anti-reflective coatings on both sides reduces extraneous reflections of light.
