Functioning as a monitor, recorder and switcher, the Atomos Shogun 7 is a versatile tool for any type of filmmaker. The 7″ HDR full HD display is impressively bright with deep contrast and renders color accurately in a variety of color spaces. It can also record up to 6K raw (SDI only), including 60fps DCI 4K raw to a 2.5″ SSD via either SDI or HDMI, preserving metadata and audio in the process. For live events, the Shogun 7 can also be used as a 4 channel switcher. It can record all 4 channels in 1080 HD simultaneously, as well as a 5th “program” channel, which can be outputted for live streaming as well.
