The Laowa 12mm Zero-D is a PL mount wide angle prime lens that offers a range of features and options for the ever evolving world of filmmaking. In addition to being compact and light, this lens is extremely fast and T2.9–perfect for low light conditions or when a pleasing bokeh is desired even with a wide lens.

The 12mm Zero-D covers both Super 35mm and Full Frame sensors while maintaining almost no distortion at the edges. This rectilinear optical design reduces the fish-eye effect commonly seen in other wide angle lenses. With a close focus distance of only 7″, this lens is great for close-up work as well. Mateboxes and accessories can also be easily used with the lens’s filter threading of 95mm, or with the included clamp ring that steps the front diameter up to 114mm.
